Not really that stunned by LeFleur leaving for an OC job where he actually gets to call the plays on game days.
Being an NFL offensive coordinator in the NFL under head coaches like Sean Payton and Sean McVay seems like slow process for earning a HC gig.
Until proven different, I have very little doubt that LeFleur's loss is going to hurt the chemistry of the Rams offense in 2018.
Don't get me wrong, I would've liked McVay to have been able to retain both Olson and LeFleur but I'm not fretting over their departures.
I'm a little bit concerned about the offensive line possibly taking a small step back with Whitworth being another year older and the unknown future of (center) John Sullivan.
McVay won't be as green behind the ears in his second season as HC and for now, I'm trusting his judgement with his in house promotions and the new addition of Jed Fisch to pick up some of the slack.
