I believe Matthew Stafford's accuracy did improve

IIRC, his accuracy wasn't that great at Georgia. But his accuracy did get better in the NFL.

But you're right -- generally it is a red flag when someone isn't accurate in college. Usually that doesn't get better. Unless some smart coach spots a mechanical flaw or something and he corrects that.

Rightly or wrongly though, I see a lot of QB's going in the 1st round this year.
