I really think this shows how times have changed. In the past the rules and players would not tolerate celebration in a borderline or outright taunting way. In today’s game celebration is embraced and part of the entertainment value.
In jeopardy of showing my age I must say I enjoyed watching the game and am not as interested in the celebrations allowed today. Sometimes I find celebration every little thing to be annoying and offensive. This goes both ways since I feel embarrassed when Rams players do it also.
Not saying what is right, just an observation how the games used to be and how some of the rules changes may be lessening viewer enjoyment no matter what the intention.
