We dropped out in Minnesota after secondary injury issues. Same deal with our inability to stop the run after losin Brock vs Atlanta. Injuries are critical.
This also demonstrates how good the Eagles are. How many teams would get to the Super Bowl minus their QB and starting LT? That team and the staff have all done a great job of executing the "next man up" cliché, which ain't easy.
Well said merlin. I agree with everything you said. As soon as we had to put in Hatfield at CB in Minny, they were able to blow the game open and Brock's last play was in the Atlanta backfield.
The Eagles are better than most give them credit for. That's why they were the #1 seed. Nice to know we went toe to toe with them and maybe should have won. I don't think we are that far away from them.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
