I personally think their biggest mistake was not doing more to keep hold of EJ Gaines. Whereas I like Watkins and he added a different threat, I don't think he was worth a 2nd AND Gaines.

It's not really about whether he played a down for us or not, it's having a guy like him IF we need him....he has shown this year that he can thrive in the right system....and that we might have beat the Vikings earlier this year if they were struggling at QB being down to their 3rd QB...I can't help but think about how the Rams could have the number two seed if we beat them that day......


I think adding Watkins was worth it, we went from worst to first and he was a part of that....though the stats might not look like it.

Hill and Peterson showed they were quite ready to step in and replace a guy like Gaines. Hill was the second or third highest rated player (Donald was #1) on wild card weekend out of all 8 teams playing that weekend.
