He's played well, no doubt. But the undefeated thing is a novelty act. If McVay needed that last game for any reason, it is extremely remote that JimmyG would be undefeated.
But we will see it next year how JimmyG holds onto his charmed life. He's gonna be a marked man in 2018 and the Niners did not suddenly become the Patriots because they added him.
I get the impression that people will be shocked if the Niners aren't contending for the SB. The hype is off the charts. This is all good for us. I like our chances beating them and stunning the football world.
