Yes, SF might be much better next year and maybe ARI and SEA will slip, but maybe not.

They looked so out of synch and playing from behind all night.

The run D sucked after Brockers left, the OL was below average, they took the screen game away and the tackling was almost as bad as the performance of the punt and kickoff teams.

It really was an awful performance.

Can McVay and Co. learn or will they sink back and be irrelevant again?

We all feel awful but don't be too down bro. Nobody expected us to get the division title and a home playoff game when the season started. We are still the reigning, defending, undisputed NFC West Champions. Still sounds good to my ears even after the loss. Lots of reasons we lost last nite. There is no reason to think we won't improve next year. IMO, we should still be the best team in the division next year. Yes, we lost a game we all wanted to win. We have some very young players who now have a little "big game" experience to fall back on. We are just not "there" yet. I am proud of the way they over achieved this year and feel confident we will get better. McVay will know his players limitations better. Goff will have another year under his belt and are main players should be returning. With some new additions we can keep this rolling. We are trending UP not down. Keep your chin up. It's a great time to be a Rams fan!!
