Just to clarify, I'm not blaming this game on the refs, far from it, as the Rams got beat straight up, BUT....
I was in a sports bar and had no sound. Was the call on Woods a crack back call? If it was, I just don't know what he is supposed to do in that situation. (I know we got it all back and more the next play)
The hold on Sammy in the end zone on 4th down. Wasn't that a brutal miss? Don't you have to make that call, he just bear hugged him. I guess its been a long time since I've seen the Rams in a playoff game, but holding in the secondary, especially in the end zone rarely gets called in the postseason.
Call on Woods was legit, it's just as the game is played now a day..crack back and too high (head/neck area).
Watkins was held/mugged but they let that go both ways all night, which is why both QB's held the ball a lot longer than normal.
