Disappointed, sure, because it would have been a thrill to see the Rams advance to the next playoff level and we're not going to do that this year. But heartbroken? No way. Too much good in what happened this year to be heartbroken.
The Rams were pretty much left for dead after Fisher coached them into the grave.. but they climbed out of the abys and shocked everybody with their remarkable improvement this season. They were considered one of the top 10 teams pretty much ALL season long. That's something to celebrate, in my opinion, not commiserate over. They're young and inexperienced. So is McVay as a HC. The hope is that they'll all learn from this and come back better and smarter next year.
