The Vikings defense at home in 2017:
MOST points allowed in ANY ONE HOME GAME: 19
Amount of games allowing 1 TD or less by their defense: 7 (out of 8!)> Only TB scores two TD's vs their D in Minnesota AND THEY GOT BLOWN OUT.
NO ONE scored 3 TD's against them at home all year.
THAT my friend is a dominating defense.
Listen, anybody can get beat at any time but you thought the Rams were going to pile up points the first time and they got 7. Don't make the same
underestimation of that defense if the go back there next week.
I can think of at least 3 opportunities the Rams did not cash in on that may have been scores.
1. Gurley going down the middle on a pass pattern early in the game that Goff slipped and fell and missed the play.
2.Gurley wide open down the left sideline all by himself when Goff threw it to Woods who was covered.
3. Kupp fumbling the ball at the 1 yard line.
That is 3 potential scores right there. And let us not forget that the Rams took the opening drive and drove it all the way down the field and scored in the 1st quarter.
zimmer is a damn good defensive coach and McVay a damn good offensive coach. Lets see who makes the adjustments the 2nd time around.
