McVay often refers to how Goff is even keel Never gets to down on himself (when playing poorly)....nor does he get ahead of himself when playing well. I have to admit I can't really pick a moment this year where he seemed visibly shaken or overwhelmed. Last year....there were several moments where his body language just gave of a vibe that he was totally lost. Just not seeing that this year.

Being "cool under fire" is a great trait to have when you are winning. When you are not winning, you can attract many critics who challenge your competitive desire to win and lead. Eli Manning is a good example of this. He's not very outspoken and just calmly goes about his business. When the going is good (two Super Bowl runs).....he gets heaps of praise. When it's not going so good......the takes a verbal pounding

Also, funny how the article refers to his Bowl game while at Cal (as some high pressure experience) as being "high scoring, but otherwise forgetable". It neglected to mention that Goff three 6 TD's and zero INT's in that game.
