I've not been able to figure out the Cousins thing in Washington.
Even Aikman has chimed in wondering what more a guy has to do to prove he is a Franchise QB.
Guys like Cousins don't grow on trees.
I just can't believe that in the end he'll leave the Redskins unless he just doesn't want to be there.
For sure it'll come down to money. But also Cousins is likely to have his pick of teams. And with the money being about equal, he'll no doubt pick a team that he thinks can win.
I'm not sure the Cards fits that mold. At best Fitz is around one year. The defense has gotten old ala the Seahawks. Who knows who the HC is going to be. I'm not sure how attractive of a place Arizona would be for Cousins.
