RB depth

January 02, 2018 10:50AM
Yeah I think Brown has been fine as a backup. Also need to consider that Austin really was a 'backup RB' as well. Dunbar was supposed to be that classic 3rd down back but only appeared in two games all year. I had forgotten about him until Sunday.

Brown could give them 60-80 carries again in 2018. He does play ST too (139 snaps). Not much of a receiver though he did catch 9 of 11 passes thrown to him this year.

I have no problem using a 6th or 7th on a RB every year. Can't hurt.

Disagree about Brown - just a guy who knows the playbook
