in their case experience was irrelevant

Not very. It worked out OK over a HEAVILY EXPERIENCED Vikings Team that was 15-1 in 1998.

I'm not sure the 99 Rams are a good example of anything. They had Faulk, Warner, and stellar WRs, plus a top ranked defense. They just overwhelmed people.

The 99 Vikes never stood a chance against that. It was never going to be any other outcome. I would even say (just an opinion) that the 99 Rams win 10 times out of 10 games against the 99 Vikes. Who btw were 10-6 in 99. If nothing else that 99 Vikes team had a poor defense while the 99 Rams had a good one.

Rams are rested, but will face a more-experienced Falcons team in the first round

RamBill529January 01, 2018 05:56PM

How experienced were the 1999 Rams

Not sure how much "experience" is a factor.

RockRam202January 02, 2018 04:08AM

Rams should just let it “all hang out”...
