They didn't get cheated in the long term because in he playoffs the product will be better.
All teams do this as necessary.
The conversatino isn't about the long term.....it was about the 9er game.
If I went to a Black Sabbath concert (wanting to see the the lead guitarist play) and Tony Iommy didn't play, they had a backup player come in.....I would feel cheated. Tony will come back for later concerts....down the road....but it doesn't do me any good because I went to this concert.
