1. It allows the Rams to invest game-day emotion 100 percent to beating the 49ers.
2. There is no compromise with league honor, as there is when the opponent is involved with playoff scenarios.
3. The 49ers allow all this Jimmy G hype to go down without the least word of sportsmanship. They deserve to be spanked. But we are in a compromised position with our starting players for this otherwise almost meaningless game. But the second stringers are not compromised. Not as good, sure, but not compromised. I feel we will have the honor of fighting the 49ers hard.
