And the honest truth is it's a really good throw but not a great one. Kupp had to maneuver to get his knee down. Kupp deserves a lot of credited for hauling it in
Actually IMO, a great throw because Goff was under duress (Havenstein's man backing into him) and Kupp had not even broken his route, great catch, but IMO, great throw under the circumstances in the face of pressure.
Was Hav that was backing into him and he was throwing to a spot and he missed it slightly. My contention is it was a really good throw, but not a great one. "Great" is thrown around too easily, IMO. If that is great, what is a throw that is under exact circumstances but is right on the money, Kupp catches it and can get two feet down? So, if people have a problem with me looking at the play many times and calling it "really good" not not calling it "great" fine. That's a difference of opinion that is not that great. I just am not going to give it a pass because he had some feet near him. Other QBs deal with that quite often and still make a truly "great" throw.
But if you disagree, fine.
