I'd still release Quinn and Austin

December 26, 2017 05:25AM
Now maybe Quinn would accept a lower salary in exchange for free agency in 2019. But if not I'm just not keeping him at $12.3M. Release him and Austin and they have close to $66M in 2018 cap space. Give Donald his contract and get as much of his guaranteed money spread across 2018-2020 as possible before a new deal for Goff kicks in.

With Gurley, he remains cheap but they will pick up his 5th year option for 2019 which is $9.2M. Well-deserved and hopefully that appeases him from wanting a new deal.

Watkins TBD. Really curious to see what he wants and what they'd be willing to pay.
