What exactly is the big difference between the 3rd and 4th seed?

Both are WC games and either will be at home. Is it because of a better chance for home games after the first round? Personally, I think the Rams can win anywhere and maybe come together even more when on the road. ALL of the NFC teams are pretty good but NONE of them are invincible to the Rams.
