Ficken missed a makeable FG and an XP. That’s 4 points right there, making this game far more dramatic than it should have been.
Then there’s that short KO to Adoree that resulted in a 50 yard runback and an eventual TD for the Titans. That’s 7 more points, dammit!
So, it’s not a big stretch to say that Ficken was directly involved in an 11 point swing that hurt the Rams in a game that they barely won by 4 points.
This kicker situation is a big deal. Gotta trust Fassel to make the right call. Gulp...
