Yes he missed a few throws while being pressured most of the day, but dude was clutch when we needed him the most!!!

you would think those things. But watching the game there was good (mostly) and some so-so

When you get 80 yards on a play by Gurley and a couple of layup TD passes set up by Gurley it can skew the stats. I had hoped we would, on day, get to a point where people wouldn't cite stats as "proof" of things. While all of us do it to an extent, it's really not the best way to evaluate.

I bet if you asked Goff if he was on to the tune of those numbers, he'd say he was glad for the win but he missed some throws.
But here, if people discuss the so-so along with the good, they get attacked. "Check the stats".

Well stats and the fact that he dropped an absolute dime in the most clutch throw of his career to Help win the biggest game this team has played in 14 years, I can excuse a few bad throws along the way.... wouldn't exactly say he was off yesterday considering it was one of his best days as a pro. Who really cares that he got some help on a 80 yard screen play? All QB's get help from their playmakers and play callers. Doesn't change anything.
