Probowl caliber season in his first season in this offense. Top 10 and could have had 4000 yd season and likely wood if he were playing all 16 games.
But from the brutally critical and cynical critiques and bashing he received combined with the total inept management, coaching as support from last season this is both vindication and validation and this kid is not asking for apologies or sticking anyone's face in it he is focused on being the best player for his team and helping his teams cause. He has been fantastic overall all season.
Gurley was MVP but Goff has made that possible like no one could have anticipated. This team a laughing stock and now respected. All the Goff haters and those who find it necessary to critique each error or incomplete pass to compile enough evidence to prove he is not what I say he is. Shame on you if you cannot appreciate it. You don't have to say he is perfect because neither am I but his upside is clearly still unknown.
Jeff Fisher and cronies may want to take credit but Stan got is right, sparing Snead and his draft choice Goff; also allowing Snead to hire out of the box and bring in Sean McVay.
Now we certainly seemed to be having a bit of an emotional let down from last week and we played a very structured almost subtle and simplistic game plan but I remind myself that two "must win" with our destiny in our control games were won by us "on the road" with the bigger and more challenging game the prior week. We really made it happen in a memorable way with the ball at the end of the game. Jared handing off to Gurley to run out the clock. 2017 NFC West Champs!
