He’s selling a fairytale

There’s no argument that Fisher inhereted a much worse roster than he left McVay.

Thing is, Fisher was responsible for doing a lot more than just building a talented roster and that part was the only job of Snead. So Fisher shares any credit for the talent improvement with Snead.

As far as coaching, Fisher was an utter disaster on offense. And he perpetuated a culture of knuckleheads as evidenced by the chronic penalties.

There were so many holes in Fishers game it’s apparent that he would never have gotten the Rams to a winning season this year. The big takeaway for me with Fishers interview is that he is actually trying to sell that he would gotten the Rams where they are now if he had stayed. Any owner who buys that deserves the guy.
