If the Rams hadn't given away three games with fumbles, they would be 13-1 and in a position to nail down the #1 seed. The losses to the Seahawks and Vikings were mainly to fumbles at the one yard line. It's hard to win a game when that happens. I don't think there is any question that this cost them the game with the Seahawks. Against the Vikings, they could have gone ahead and taken control of that game when the fumble occurred. Some will point to the final score, but it was tied going into the 4th quarter. A fumble in the 4th quarter cost them the Eagles game. The other loss was to the Redskins. I would attribute that to a fluke early in the season before this team had fully developed its confidence. The Rams are at the top of my least squares power rankings. They are a strong team. I think they are the strongest team in the NFL, but their record doesn't quite reflect that fact because they let some games get away by making critical errors.
