When we stand back and realize that we have a full time rookie starter on D, and a full time rookie starter on O, and they were both 3rd round picks, that's impressive.
But, when you add in the tremendous play they have contributed (Kupp has already eclipsed the Rams rookie record for a WR, with 2 games to play), and you see how much it helped the D to supplant Alexander with Johnson, these guys are contributing the way you hope that your first round picks would.
Add in the obvious talent of Everett and Reynolds who have contributed, and the excellent depth that Ekuban has provided, even starting a couple of games, and then throw in Tanzel Smart to boot as a valuable part of the Dline rotation, and all in all 2017 was one heck of a draft.....particularly when we didn't have a 1st round pick!
Well done Mr. Snead.
Now let's do it again in 2018 when we don't have a 2nd round pick.
