The hype on local radio is somewhat astonishing, even if I think it somewhat delusional. Fans, (whom I know and don't know), have surfaced, and they 'believe'. The final game is already being hyped on local stations.... mostly likely to attract someone, anyone, to listen to their programming in a meaningless year for them... but also there is the 'we're back' angle and it's working.
My opinion - Garoppolo was a good addition, possibly a very good one... but that alone doesn't make them a good team and they certainly are NOT in the Ram's category... never the less, they ARE going to go into that game like it's a playoff game. That's a concern, or should be, IMHO... in more ways than one. I'm thinking 'injuries'. I think it VERY wise to put the Titans down and then consider some rest for the starters.... as far as I'm concerned the 'rivalry' should take a very distant back burner to readying the team for the playoffs.
