Great eval of his strengths there and great numbers produced indeed.
Also I might add that his making the final cut was not a slam dunk .
I think the suspension of Mike Thomas made it easier to keep him. It could have wound up with him being cut of traded if Thomas doesn't have that issue .
We wouldn't have cried for long if at all.
Pharo seemed like just a guy at that point and not in any shape did he have a defined role as the lead return guy .
He had an opportunity and he literally ran with it .
This success after about week 3 as a returner I believe is unprecedented . I can't think of something like this happening probably going back to maybe the Jackie Wallace year . I believe he was a mid season change at PR and was about top three in the NFL at that for one good year maybe.
But this feels different.
I don't think there's ever been a change in a kick returner or punt returner mid year that completely changed the dynamic like Cooper has .
It's a lights out positive achievement.
And Serious good fortune that barely came about.
