Hey Great Ram in the Sky: Other than fielding some pretty good teams this era that beat up on lots of teams including the Rams what is it about them you actually "dislike".? Specific players, fans, coaching, owners? What is it? I don't "like" any teams the Rams play but I respect a few-and they are one of them. I don't know any of their fans except a few relatives that work and live in the Bay area. They're ok.
Very simply put, I am a Rams fan and secondly have always hated the 49ers. I understand as an Angelino that San Franciscans don't like us, patronize us
and look down their noses at us.
We steal their water don't you know?
That's like asking a Dodgers fan what he doesn't like about the Giants or the Yankees for that matter.
You lived here your whole life and you don't understand the dislike for San Francisco? How does that happen?
Yes, the 49ers fans in the Walsh era were arrogant and spiteful. They thought they were better then us. They had no respect for us or our team.
Even after years of the Rams using the 49ers as doormats in the 60s and 70s. The 49ers were sad sack losers for years with some years of moderate success under Dick Nolan in the early 70s sprinkled in. We owned them.
After living through what ownership here became post Carroll Rosenbloom and the unmitigated success of the 49ers and their fans I am not in any big
hurry to see the 49ers franchise experience any success again.
