Goff is very early in his career . I think he is a smart competent QB who can be among the tops in the league but will have a hard time living up to the status of a #1 overall pick .
Right now he can dominate against a lesser opponent and make the basic plays and throws . He still needs to see the entire field better .
I think he is gone back and forth on taking risk on deeper throws and for the most you dont see the attempts beyond 30 yds and that may be a level to better ensure success right now .
He may look very average and have a great W-L record and that's all we need for now .
In the coming years he may rip it downfield more and get more respect but that'll never mean as much as the overall success of the team and I think he gets that right now.
