Assuming they beat the dreaded team from "the city" they end up with a 10-6 record. That may or may not get them into the playoffs. It's been said that you learn more from your losses than you do from your wins. I suspect that the Ram brass-as smart as they have shown-can genuinely use this to really improve this team for the future. (drafts, trades, etc). I haven't felt that way about them for a long time. I honestly believe that they are now considered a "smart" organization.
On a smaller note: One big lesson learned this last week was that due to the So Cal fires Gurley was more rested before the Eagle game than earlier games. And it showed ! I thought he was much faster to the open space than any time this year. For whatever reason-the Rams are not practicing today either.
