There is very little RG3 in him

December 11, 2017 08:17PM
He can play from the pocket like a real NFL QB. He is not close to the runner RG3 was, but he can move an run well for a guy his size but when he's running it's mostly to escape not by design like it was for RG3.

He is a football player that will sacrifice his body, however, and they will need to manage that if he's to last. But it's not as if Goff isn't an injury risk with his beanpole build too. If/when he gets crunched and injured, you'll get the same I told you so's as you're seeing now with Wentz. He went 29 games before getting injured in the NFL and apparently the injury wasn't due to the contact he absorbed, so it more than likely should be chalked up as simply injuries happen in football.

A better comparison would be Cam Newton from a physical capacity to withstand punishment perspective than the diminutive RG3. If Cam can do it, Wentz doing much less running should be able to too..... over the long run.

Carson Wentz is the QB I preferred.
