And I'm not doubting you AT ALL. But what I was most out of line for me regarding some, several, of the calls made was the 'ticky-tack'ness' of them.
for me it's simple... call NONE 0f the ticky-tack, in which we get a good game... some calls not going our way, some will... or call them ALL in which case you are consistent and also destroy the game.
But back to holding. The only honest way to handle this is to NOT call any holding that has no direct bearing on the play outcome... which is a judgement call, admittedly, but not always. And that because: There is holding on nearly every play run in every game the NFL plays.
