If not for the disappointment of losing, it was a GREAT game to watch!

That was a great football game played by two heavyweights. Lots of scoring; great plays; great hits; well done. It's what December football between contenders is all about.

In any sports battle, no matter how good the opponents, only one is going to come out the victor.
But to say that losing some how diminishes the the defeated team or creates doubts in them is not reasonable or accurate.

Had the Eagles lost, it would not have diminished them for the terrific team that they are.

The Rams are a very good team. That loss doesn't change that. A couple of plays or ref calls that are different, and the Rams win.

Don't forget: with 4 minutes to go in the game, the Rams were up 35-34 after being down as much as 21-7.

I hope the Rams show up in Seattle ticked off for not being able to complete that win over the Eagles. They can vindicate themselves big time by playing their best game of the year and putting themselves up 2 full games over the Hawks with 2 to play.

This season's future is still in their hands; they don't need any outside help.
