That is what needs to be explored. It's a game of variables and some luck. Offense got lucky twice when Goff threw a couple of bad balls and they were not picked off, when they should have been.

So, if the offense gets away with a couple, does that figure into the "offense vs defense" debate?

If the offense screws up and due to luck does not pay the price is that just accepted as normal? "Ah well, it wasn't picked off"...I can tell you coaches don't think that way but fans do. And that's fine to a point, but also it's not always productive in trying to figure out what happened.
