I think 49 is saying that he expects more from Watkins, RFIP.
I know I do. Something’s missing between Watkins and Goff. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but the chemistry between Goff and Woods/Kupp just is a bit lacking with Watkins.
And sometimes I sense a lack of effort in Watkins, too. That’s inexcusable.
Do you advocate spending $8-10 million per on Watkins when the chemistry still hasn’t developed after 4 1/2 months? Or would you prefer to sign another Woods type for much less money next offseason? Maybe roll with Reynolds?
I think that these are 3 legit questions.
