1985........Big game needed at Rival Niners to get the West.
Maybe more like 1989 . We HAVE to avoid this!!!!!! We had THAT MNF game vs the hated Niners. A win puts us in GREAT shape for the West. A loss makes the last 2 reg season games essentially playoff games. It was fun to see the Rams pull it off and get to the Title BUUUUUT, taking the long way, drained them and WHY I say they lost it after Lott deflected away a 10 to 0 lead. The Rams were TANKED emotionally.
