Max, team doctors may be good, but the test for an ACL tear (the Lachman test) is very simple and pretty definitive.
If your knee “stops” when you tug it forward, your ACL is intact. If there’s no clear “stop point,” ACL is torn.
So the question is, assuming they did the test and believe the ACL is not intact, why are they saying stuff like it may not be a complete tear and there is hope.
What does that mean?
