1999 was awesome....but rarely does it happen where a team goes from worst to first....then on to Superbowl Champs. Particularly a team as young as the 2017 Rams. Usually, you get the marked improvement....make the playoffs....and try to get experience of at least one playoff win. Somewhere along the way in the playoffs you get bounced out....then the team management "fine tunes" the roster to minimize the weak links and create some depth. Then in year two or three you are positioned for the deep run and championship.
The Rams are right on track. Win next week and the Division belongs to the Rams. That's the focus right now.
