Watched the Eagles a bit this year. Man, that's a good team.
However; I don't think they are all world by any means. At least one of their wins came on a 62 yard FG as time ran out......against the Giants!!!
Another came by the skin of their teeth beating the Chargers when the Chargers were playing really poorly.
When they came West, they got their butts kicked by Seattle.
Wentz is a really good young QB. He is a running threat indeed; but he's not Russell Wilson or Cam Newton. He's not elusive. He's just big and strong and has decent speed and a mentality to run. But the Rams have good speed everywhere on D and a deep Dline rotation to keep guys fresh. And because of Wilson, they know how to play a QB running threat.
Bottom line: I don't think the Rams need to do any more than they do for any other game or team. You game plan to put your strengths against their weaknesses.
Make no mistake: Rams will need to play their "A" game in order to win. But the Eagles are hardly invincible.
And, if what ESPN is reporting is true, there's some chance that Ertz won't play. That's big for the Eagles as their offense is dependent on him.
