Johnson is just a damn fool who thinks he knows the game as a whole but has no clue
Just like many x players who were athletically gifted and do not know the game from a coaches point of view
There is a reason that most x players do not make great or even good coaches or analysts. Mainly because they live in a bubble and do not really know or understand the game
In addition to that as Johnson stated himself, I believe he just is not very smart.
