As it pertains to QBs, and the pocket and running elements. I think it correlates, too, with how important it is for a QB to be pocket savvy in order to have a long career. There have been scrambling QBs that have had long and HoF careers (like Tarkenton and Young), but overall I think it's why you see "running" QBs rise and fall so quickly while so many of the HoF and greatest list types are primarily pocket or "scramble to throw downfield" QBs.

Anyway, both these QBs are off to great starts with hopefully many years of success and playoff showdowns ahead. I don't find it necessary to compare them just yet, as so many things are going to factor in over the next decade or whatever in terms of which guy is better. Hope Goff comes out on top there, but even if not he still might put up a HoF career so either way it's going to be fun to watch him do his thing in this offense.
