The Rams are averaging 16 PPG more in 2017 than 2016, the largest season-over-season scoring increase in 60 years (heard stat during broadcast today, think they meant including the league at large, not just team mark?).
Wade Phillips has made the playoffs in his first season as DC a half dozen times in a row:

'95 BUF
'02 ATL
'04 SD
'11 HOU
'15 DEN (again, coming full circle)
'17 LAR to extend sequence/continuation of pattern?
