Agreed. To think the NFL didn't know this type of communication on both sides of the ball would go on is naïve ,imo.
And the fact is the majority of teams do it . And after the cutoff if the defense shifts all that most likely goes out the
window. JG still has to go through his reads, make the throws and yes, audible in and out of plays based on what
his coach is telling him up until that point. Not cheating. Funny though heard on ESPN countdown a tease about how
the Rams were Exploiting a "loophole" to succeed. Didn't see the story, DVR shifted to a new recording before it came on.
Not sure how it's a loophole if the rule doesn't come close to forbidding this type of talk on the headset.
