Really puzzling.
I think the personnel give the current defense a low ceiling against the run. Up front they need some beef at Nose to smooth out having a penetrator like Donald. At LB I was a little surprised they extended Ogletree. I think he brings a lot to the table, but he just doesn't play consistent or technique sound against the run. I love the way Barron plays football, but I think he's cut in the same mold as Ogletree. I don't think you can have them both on the inside long term, so I'd be surprised to see Barron here in !8 unless the $ or trade comp. don't make it worthwhile to trade him.
Id expect to see a new nose, a downhill ILB, and of course a CB or two to make Wade happy in 18
