This is kind of a childish argument. I'm sorry I even entered into it. I'm excited the Rams won a big game. As I wrote above it doesn't mean anything to me as to who has the most fans as long as the Rams continue to play good ball and win. We live (those who live here) in a very unique part of the world. Now we have a good football team to go along with all the perks of So Cal. At least now when we sit down in a bar next to a N.Y. Giant fan -who just moved here-we don't feel embarrassed to talk football.
I don't think it's a childish argument at all from a FOOTBALL perspective at least. The 12th man in Seattle is a pretty big deal. That crowd noise causes several false starts by the visitors every game and also requires a lot of practice time during the week to prepare for it. It's a big deal and it's just one of those advantages that the Rams don't have right now and other teams do. That's all. The unique mix of people in the crowd from different places and fans from different teams may make for a fun tailgating experience or unique conversation during the game, but it does little to help the team win.
