The Rams have shown they are a "good" team. Far better than they have been for a long time. That in and of itself is exciting especially considering who is coaching now. However I don't consider them a "very good" team and certainly not an "elite" team.
Maybe I'm just quibbling on adjectives and adverbs.
And this is the fun part isn't it? I just love the way this is playing out. I'm a reader of Shakespeare, Sophocles, and the other two major Greek tragedians. I appreciate the development of plot in relationship to ... wait for it ... what? TIME!
Yes, the forgotten dimension in this age of immediate access and instant gratification. What we are watching this year is simply the process of a young team's development. There is a lot to be gleaned from this that has broader application.
I for one am enjoying this realization.
