Saints did rub it in last year, and guys like Donald, Tree, and TruJ were embarrassed and will react to that.
Also, this is not as big a game for the Saints as it is for Rams. Saints had a highly emotional comeback OT win at home last week. And they have a huge division game next week against Carolina. They are holding out their CBs this week, they can’t afford not to have them next week.
Certainly, the Saints are on a roll, but they are on the road against a good team, they could easily lose this game and it have no effect on their playoff chances as long as they take care of business next week.
I think it’s very important for the Rams to come out and punch them in the mouth right off the bat to set the tone. Make them realize this is not gonna be a walk in the park before their big meeting with Carolina.
