Wilson is capitalizing on the rules to the fullest extent. He is combining his amazing talent with the rule that protect QBs and leveraging them against defenders. Defenders know that if they hit him there is always the potential that it will get called for 15 yards, so Wilson fakes them into doubting whether he's gonna slide or not.

And Wilson is not RG3 or Vick or Newton. Wilson is being protected much more than those guys because of his reputation. The league loves the guy. He's a model citizen. (keep in mind that I believe he is a totally phony).
