So, that's 2 home losses for the SeaRats, and in both of them more than 30 points were scored against them. In one case, by a rookie QB.
After the Rams stubbing their collective toes in Minny, the Falcons deserve a bouquet of roses for keeping the Rams 1 game ahead in the NFC West.
Forget "seeding". The whole goal of the Rams needs to be to win the division. ANY seeding is fine for the Rams who haven't been in a playoff in so many years.
Been saying it all season; Seattle is vulnerable. And with the loss of Sherman and Chancellor, they are more vulnerable than ever. Certainly with Wilson they are always in the game. Age, attrition due to salary cap restrictions, and injuries have caught up (as it inevitably happens). And, the ball has not always seemingly magically bounced their way this year as it has in the past 3 or 4 years. Result; after 10 games the Rams are leading the division after years of Seattle owning the NFC West. Let's face it; the Hawks knew full well that they had a golden opportunity to reclaim the division lead....at home....and couldn't do it.
Now it's up to the Rams to regroup, get back on track, and take care of business this coming Sunday against the Saints.
If they can't.....well.......the division may revert back to the Seahawks by default. My stomach just got a bit queezy.
