Prime Time games have absolutely NOTHING to do with fan excitement or hype. It's ALLLL about Network $$$$$$ Even when the Rams win on "Prime Time", knowing I have to be up in 5 hours or less is a damper. It's just SOOOOOOOOO much more fun to enjoy an AFTERNOON game with chips , beer etc etc and not have bed time and work looming IMMEDIATELY after.

Also, I have also heard it's a chance for the WHOLE nation to tune in to see the Rams. WRONG! You can bet 90% have crashed at halftime or sooner.
